Alcohol-related arrests of drivers operating a car under the influence is skyrocketing in many places.In the Province of Ontario, Canada, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) agency announced that impaired driving arrests were up in January 37% compared to the same time last year. Yesterday, several staff from the Sheriff's Office participated in the Law Enforcement Memorial Torch Run honoring fallen officers from the State of Nevada. ‎WCSO‬ Deputies from various divisions ran a 12 mile leg from Smith Valley to Wellington to memorialize those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
